Geoscience Equipment & Laboratories

Integrated analytical capabilities supporting geothermal, water, and mineral projects

INTEGRATED LABORATORY CAPABILITIES

RSDC relies on specialized laboratories in geology, geophysics, and geochemistry, made available within an institutional framework, to conduct advanced surface studies and interpretations. These capabilities support the identification, characterization, and qualification of geological structures, geothermal reservoirs, and water resources upstream of drilling and development phases.

APPLIED GEOLOGY LABORATORY

Identification and characterization of geological structures

The Applied Geology Laboratory supports surface and subsurface studies for geothermal, hydraulic, and mining projects.
It enables the analysis of geological formations, identification of structures favorable to fluid circulation, and evaluation of natural resource potential.

Associated Services

APPLIED GEOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY

Fluid analysis  and Geothermal signatures

The Geochemistry Laboratory analyzes water, gas, and rock samples to assess fluid–rock interactions and identify geothermal signatures.
These analyses are essential for understanding geothermal systems and optimizing drilling strategies.

Associated Services

APPLIED GEOPHYSICS LABORATORY

Subsurface imaging and reservoir identification

The Applied Geophysics Laboratory conducts non-invasive prospecting studies to characterize the subsurface and identify geothermal, hydrogeological, and mineral structures.
It is involved in reconnaissance, data acquisition, processing, and interpretation of geophysical data.
